HELP Line Listens to the Community Via Email

Madison House's 24/7 crisis hotline has embarked on an electronic frontier. Now, in addition to speaking with callers over the phone, HELP Line volunteers are receiving and responding to email. The phone service is still in full operation, (434) 295-TALK, but now any person in need of a listening ear can also email helpline@madisonhouse.org.

Madison House Honored as Finalist for the United Way Award of Excellence in Board Governance

The United Way Award of Excellence in Board Governance recognizes the board of a local non-profit for their establishment of effective management policies and procedures, their work assuring adequate human and financial resources for the organization, and their active promotion of the organization throughout the community. This year Madison House was proud to be recognized as a finalist.
